UIBIC Bank became the first bank to open a branch in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, on 16 May 2007, extending world-class services to both local and international companies and individuals. The Baghdad, Basra and Sulaymaniyah branches followed with a wide range of services and products covering business and personal banking, including transfers and trade finance (letters of credit, letters of guarantee, and documentary collections). In addition, UIBIC Bank operates a referral business from other international banks.
